The Doctrine of Salvation
At Liberty Bible Baptist Academy (LBBA), we adhere firmly to the biblical doctrine of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. We teach that a person's good works cannot save them from hell. As the scriptures declare, "for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God," and we are redeemed only by His mercy, "for by grace are ye saved." Salvation is the free gift of God, received entirely through faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed on Calvary for the complete forgiveness of our sins.

The Saving Perception
The necessary state of mind and heart required to receive God's free gift of salvation.
1. Belief in God
Before anything else, a person must genuinely believe in the existence of the Almighty God. One must acknowledge Him as the Creator and the ultimate judge to whom all humanity is accountable.
"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

2. Spiritual Bankruptcy
A person must perceive themselves as utterly helpless and lost. This requires completely abandoning any hope that personal morality, religious efforts, or "good works" can earn salvation. One must agree with God's judgment that our own merits are entirely worthless.
"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."

3. Absolute Trust in Christ
The mind must shift its reliance entirely from self to Jesus Christ. It is a state of complete surrender—resting passively and absolutely in the truth that Christ's shed blood and finished work on the cross is the only acceptable payment for sin.
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."

The Five Pillars of Salvation
These foundational truths guide our curriculum and daily instruction.
1. Creation
God created man in His own image to have perfect fellowship with Him. The universe and everything in it were flawlessly designed by the Creator's hand.
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

The Book of Life
Before the foundation of the world, God inscribed every name in the Book of Life. By His sovereign design, every person born enters this world with their name already written — God's original intention is for all mankind to dwell with Him in eternity. However, when a person dies unsaved, their name is blotted out of the Book of Life, and they are cast into the lake of fire.
"...whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." — Revelation 13:8 (KJV)
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." — Revelation 20:15 (KJV)
"He that overcometh... I will not blot out his name out of the book of life..." — Revelation 3:5 (KJV)
Who is "the Overcomer"?
The overcomer is NOT someone who earns their salvation through good works or moral achievements. The overcomer is simply any person who believes in Jesus Christ. Faith itself is the victory — not performance.
"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" — 1 John 5:4-5 (KJV)
2. Sin
Man chose to disobey God, breaking that divine fellowship. This original sin brought spiritual and physical death, separating humanity entirely from a holy God.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

3. Repentance
A genuine turning away from sin and turning towards God. It is the necessary change of mind and heart prompted by the conviction of the Holy Spirit.
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out..."

4. Acceptance
Receiving Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior by faith alone. It is trusting entirely in His finished work on the cross for the forgiveness of sins.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

5. Assurance
The absolute certainty of eternal life. Once saved, the believer is eternally secure, held in the Father's hand, and sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption.
Relationship vs. Fellowship
When a saved person sins, it does not destroy their Relationship with God (sonship). Just as a child who disobeys remains their father's child, the spiritual birth cannot be undone. However, sin does break their Fellowship (daily communion) with God until it is confessed.
The Believer's Remedy
When a saved person sins, they do not need to be re-saved. They need only to confess their sin to God to restore their daily fellowship with Him. Salvation was secured at the cross; confession restores the walk, not the standing.

The Father's Discipline
God does not abandon His children when they sin. He lovingly corrects and chastises them as a Father. A believer's eternal soul remains perfectly secure in the Father's hand regardless of their failures.
"For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth..." — Hebrews 12:6 (KJV)
"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand."

God's Fatherly Chastisement
What happens when a saved person keeps on sinning?
"For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth."
— Hebrews 12:6 (KJV)God's chastisement is never about condemnation — the saved person's soul remains eternally secure. It is the loving correction of a Father who refuses to allow His child to continue in dishonoring His name. The presence of chastisement is actually proof of sonship: God only disciplines those who are truly His.
Verbal Warning
God first speaks to the saved person's conscience through the Holy Spirit, Scripture, a sermon, or a godly friend. This is the softest form — a loving warning to stop before consequences follow.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God...for reproof, for correction..."

Active Chastisement
If warnings are ignored, God applies direct and increasing discipline — sickness, broken relationships, loss of finances, loss of peace, or loss of joy. The goal is always restoration, never destruction.
"For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep."

Physical Death
If a saved person persistently and unrepentantly continues in serious sin, God can sovereignly take that believer home early through physical death. This is not condemnation — the soul is still eternally saved. It is God refusing to allow His child to further dishonor His name.

False Assurance
How can a person know they are not truly saved?
Because salvation is by grace alone and saved people still sin, we cannot look solely at outward behavior to prove someone is lost. According to Scripture, the true indications of an unsaved state are rooted in what they trust and the presence of the Holy Spirit.
1. Trusting in Good Works
If someone believes they will go to heaven because they are a "good person," go to church, or keep the commandments, they are trusting in themselves, not Christ. Any reliance on self-righteousness frustrates the grace of God.
"I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."

2. Sinning Without Conviction
A saved person will be disciplined by God when they sin. If a person can live in continuous, willful sin with zero internal guilt and zero divine chastisement, they do not belong to the Father.
"But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons."

3. No Witness of the Spirit
When truly saved, the Holy Spirit gives an internal, spiritual assurance—a quiet "knowing" of sonship. An unsaved person lacks this completely, having only external religion or indifference.
"Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."

4. Rejection of the True Gospel
An unsaved mind is naturally blind to spiritual truth. They might like a generic "loving God," but will inherently reject the biblical Jesus, finding the true Gospel of grace either foolish or offensive.
"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him..."

The Litmus Test: The ultimate test is not "Are they sinning?" but rather,
Are they resting 100% on Christ's shed blood, and when they sin, does the Spirit bring conviction?
The Sinner's Prayer
If you believe that you are a sinner in need of God's salvation, you can receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior right now by praying this prayer sincerely from your heart.
“Heavenly Father, I come before You as a sinner. I confess that I have sinned against You and that I cannot save myself by anything I do. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood to pay for my sins, and that He rose again from the dead.
Right now, I change my mind about my sin — I agree with You that I am lost and in need of Your mercy. I put my complete trust in Jesus Christ alone as my personal Lord and Savior. I am not trusting in my good works, my religion, or my own efforts — only in Christ and what He has already done.

Guiding Principles & Scope
1. Guiding Principles
Fine: ₱0.00All disciplinary measures shall be fair, educational, non-violent, and implemented with due process in accordance with DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012 (Child Protection Policy). The school adheres to restorative discipline and progressive interventions.
2. Scope
Fine: ₱0.00This policy applies to all learners during school hours, within school premises, and in all school-related activities on or off campus.
Admission Requirements
1. Ages for Pre-School Enrollees
Fine: ₱0.00Kinder II: 5 years old.
Standard and Late-Birthday Age Limits for Kinder II (LRN Eligibility):
- Standard Minimum Age: The learner must be 5 years old on or before October 31 of the current school year.
- The Late-Birthday Exception (ECCD Eligible): If a child is born late in the year and will turn 5 years old between November 1 and December 31, they are permitted to enroll and receive an LRN only if they have completed one full year of an Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) program. They must present a Certificate of Completion from a recognized Child Development Center.
2. Birth Certificate

Academic Policies
1. Attendance
Fine: ₱0.00A pupil/student who wishes to be excused from class should ask permission from the adviser and secure a gate pass. To fulfill our legal obligation of Substitute Parental Authority (Art. 218, Family Code), the school strictly enforces a closed-campus policy. No student may leave the premises during school hours without a verifiable communication from the authorized parent/guardian and an approved Gate Pass.
In case of a child's absence; the teacher must be notified by the parents or guardians through a letter or call.
A pupil /student who commits 10 consecutive absences without notice will be dropped.
Strict compliance of school hours is required of the student. The time shown on the school clock is the school standard time. All pupils/students must be in school before the official class hour starts in the morning and in the afternoon.
A pupil/student is considered late when he arrives five (5) minutes after the class has started.
The excuse will be granted to the pupil/student for absence due to illness. An unexcused absence must be supported by a letter from parents/guardians, to be given to the adviser upon the return of the pupil/student to school. If on the second day there is still no excuse letter, the student will not be allowed to enter his classes and will be sent to the guidance office. The parents then will be informed.
A pupil/student who wishes to be excused from his class should ask permission from the adviser and secure a gate pass. Gate passes will only be issued after the learner's adviser has communicated with their parents/legal guardian.
2. Academic Requirement

Every child must have his/her own books for maximum learning.
All subject requirements must be complied with on time.
As much as possible, students must take tests on scheduled dates. The school discourages special exams.
All pupils and students are required to participate in all academic activities. However, participation in extra-curricular activities is voluntary and with parents'/legal guardians' approval.
Students with failing grades due to willful negligence of responsibilities and excessive absences will be advised to transfer after a thorough counseling without positive response.
3. Grading System
Fine: ₱0.00A student is graded based on quizzes, unit tests, recitation, long tests, periodical tests, and projects. Grade computation: Kindergarten and Elementary Levels: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters are weighted equally. Secondary Level: Averaging grading system is followed (the average of the 3 trimesters of every subject is multiplied by the corresponding number of units).
4. Honors and Citations
Fine: ₱0.00Criteria for awarding honors based on DepEd Order No. 36, s. 2016.
Academic Excellence Awards: Honors are awarded to learners based on their General Average for the trimester (or Final General Average for year-end recognition). A student must not have any failing grades (below 75) in any subject.
- With Highest Honors: 98 - 100
- With High Honors: 95 - 97
- With Honors: 90 - 94
Character Excellence: Awarded for exemplary behavior based on core values (Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, Makabansa).
Special Awards: Outstanding participation in Leadership, Athletics, Arts, Communication Arts, Mathematics, Sciences, and Tech-Voc.
A candidate for graduation for honors in the secondary level should have completed the whole secondary course within four (4) curriculum years for high school and should not have failed in any subject during the entire four years of high school.
Academic Excellence: Honors are awarded to learners whose quarter average falls within the published honor ranges and who have no subject grade lower than 85%. Quarter Ceilings: Q1=94, Q2=95, Q3=96, Q4=98. Character Excellence: Awarded for exemplary behavior (obedient, industrious, neat & clean, courteous). Special Awards: Outstanding participation in co-curricular activities.
A candidate for graduation for honors in the secondary level should have completed the whole secondary course within four (4) curriculum years for high school and should not have failed in any subject during the entire four years of high school.
Scholarship (academic & vocation): Weight 7. Character: Weight 3. Total: 10. Only Fourth Year Ratings are considered for character and co-curricular weights.
5. Promotion and Retention

A Pupil with a final average of not less than 75% is promoted to the next grade level. A final grade of less than 75% is considered retained.
Promotion shall be by subject and by the number of units. A student who fails in 2 subjects or less is promoted to the next year level. A student who fails in more than 2 subjects will be retained.
A student who incurs absences of more than 20% of the prescribed number of class or laboratory periods during the school year shall be given a failing grade and no credit for the subject.
Conduct and Behavior Policies
1. Apparel, Hair Code, Accessories, Personal Belongings

The P.E uniform should be worn during P.E days.
Wearing of extremely tight or form-fitting trousers for boys and short dresses, shorts, low-cut blouses, and pants for girls within the campus is not allowed.
Pupils/Students must take care of their books and personal properties at all times. Any property loss must be immediately reported to the adviser.
Pupils/student must wear their IDs while in campus.
Pupils/Students are discouraged from bringing expensive toys and gadgets to school. The school is not held responsible for any damage or loss of such items.
The boys should have their hair neatly trimmed according to the prescribed haircut. Likewise, the wearing of earrings and nose jewelry for boys and excessive jewelry for girls is prohibited. Any form of piercing is not allowed.
The girls must not color their hair. Likewise, the wearing of nose jewellery and excessive jewellery for girls is prohibited.
Violations will be subject to positive, non-violent progressive discipline instead of monetary fines.

Guiding Principles & Scope
1. Guiding Principles
All disciplinary measures shall be fair, educational, non-violent, and implemented with due process in accordance with DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012 (Child Protection Policy). The school adheres to restorative discipline and progressive interventions.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all learners during school hours, within school premises, and in all school-related activities on or off campus.
Admission Requirements
1. Ages for Pre-School Enrollees
Pre-school enrollees must meet the following age requirements: Nursery (3-4 years old), Kinder I (4 years old), Kinder II (5 years old).
2. Birth Certificate Requirement
A photocopy of the Birth Certificate is required for all Preschool and Grade 1 enrollees.
3. Entrance Test and Interview
A Progress Entrance Test and interview are mandatory for all incoming Grade I pupils, first-year high school students, and transferees.
4. Certificate of Moral Character
A Certificate of Moral Character from the last school attended is required for all transferees with a GMRC/Values Education grade of less than 83%.
5. Entrance Fee
Payment of the entrance fee in accordance with the school fee assessment schedule.
6. Admission & Medical Forms
Properly accomplished Application for Admission and Medical Form.
7. Parents' Orientation
Mandatory attendance at the Parents' Orientation session.
NOTE. Reservation of Rights
The school reserves the right not to accept applicants on the basis of past academic record and/or conduct.
Financial Policies
1. Prior Approval for Collections
No fees or money will be collected from the students without prior approval from the administration.
2. Delinquent Accounts Clearance
Upon enrollment, all delinquent accounts must first be paid.
3. Entrance Fee Payment
The entrance fee must be paid in accordance with the school fee assessment schedule.
4. Book Issuance Policy
A complete set of books will be issued upon enrollment as soon as books become available and if payment is made in accordance with the schedule. If payment is not made in accordance with the schedule, the books will not be issued.
5. Monthly Billing Cycle
Billing is sent every 3rd week of the month, and monthly payments must be made after receiving the billing statement.
6. Inability to Pay / Periodical Tests
In case of inability to pay, especially during long and periodical tests, the parents must see the principal or director for special payment arrangements.
7. Exam Clearance
Clearance is required before a student can take mid-school year and final examinations.
8. Release of Permanent Records
Pupils'/Students' cards and permanent records will not be released until all accounts have been fully paid.
9. Payment Options
Payment Options include: 1) One monthly fee deduction for whole year payment. 2) Family discount: for 3 children, the 3rd child monthly tuition is free. 3) Regular monthly fee payments.
Academic Policies
1. Attendance & Punctuality
Policies covering school attendance, punctuality, and absences.
To get the maximum training, pupils/students must be regular and prompt in attendance.
In case of a child's absence, the teacher must be notified by the parents or guardians through a letter or call.
A pupil/student who commits 10 consecutive absences without notice will be dropped from the school roll.
Strict compliance with school hours is required. The time shown on the school clock is the school standard time. All pupils/students must be in school before the official class hour starts in the morning and in the afternoon.
A pupil/student is considered late/tardy when he/she arrives five (5) minutes after the class has started.
Excuse will be granted for absences due to illness. An unexcused absence must be supported by a letter from parents/guardians, given to the adviser upon return. If on the second day there is still no excuse letter, the student will not be allowed to enter classes, will be sent to the guidance office, and parents will be informed.
A pupil/student who wishes to be excused from class should ask permission from the adviser and secure a gate pass. Gate passes will only be issued after the adviser has communicated with their parents or legal guardian.

Every child must have his/her own books for maximum learning.
All subject requirements must be complied with on time.
As much as possible, students must take tests on scheduled dates. The school discourages special exams.
All pupils and students are required to participate in all academic activities. However, participation in extra-curricular activities is voluntary and with parents’/legal guardians' approval.
Students with failing grades due to willful negligence of responsibilities and excessive absences will be advised to transfer after thorough counseling if no positive response is observed.
3. Grading System
A student is graded based on quizzes, unit test, recitation, long test, periodical test, and projects. Grade computation: Kindergarten and Elementary Levels: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters are weighted at 25% each. Secondary Level: Averaging grading system is followed (the average of the 4 quarters of every subject is multiplied by the corresponding number of units).
4. Honors and Citations
Criteria for undergraduate academic honors, character excellence medals, and graduation citations.
Honors are awarded to learners whose quarter average falls within published ranges, with no subject grade below 85% in that quarter. Exceptional cases will be reviewed by the Honors Review Committee. The school reserves the right to withhold honors for failure to meet the subject floor or for disciplinary reasons.
Quarter 1 (ceiling = 94): Highest Honors (93-94), High (91-92), Honors (89-90), Accomplishment (below 89). Quarter 2 (ceiling = 95): Highest (94-95), High (92-93), Honors (89-91), Accomplishment (below 89). Quarter 3 (ceiling = 96): Highest (95-96), High (93-94), Honors (89-92), Accomplishment (below 89). Quarter 4 (ceiling = 98). Final Honors average is based on General Average of all 4 quarters (highest possible average is 95.75, rounded to 96).
Pupils/students demonstrating exemplary behavior and conduct are awarded gold medals/certificates in the following categories: behaved, obedient, industrious, neat & clean, courteous.
Given for outstanding participation in co-curricular activities, leadership, inter-school academic sports, art, and cultural competitions.
A candidate for graduation with honors in secondary level must complete the whole course within 4 curriculum years and have no failing grades during all 4 years of high school.
Graduation honors criteria: Scholarship (7 weights), Character (3 weights) - Total 10. Only the Fourth Year Ratings are considered for character and extra-curricular weights.
5. Promotion and Retention
Elementary: Pupils with a final average of 75% or higher are promoted; below 75% are retained. High School: Promotion is by subject and units. A student failing 2 subjects or less is promoted; failing more than 2 subjects is retained. Absences of more than 20% of class/lab periods will result in a failing grade and no credit.
Conduct and Behavior Policies
1. Prescribed School Uniform
All pupils/students must wear the prescribed school uniform. The strict implementation and deadline for wearing the prescribed school and P.E. uniforms is August 3, 2026.

1. Digital Library & ICT Facilities
